agrimed Hessen wV is an association of around
80 producers of medicinal, spice and culinary plants. Our office is
located
at Trebur / Ried, a small Hessian town close to Frankfurt / Main. Even if
they are mostly from southern parts of Hesse, the geographical range of our
growers extends from northern Germany down to Bavaria.
agrimed Hessen wV provides goods from conventional farming as well as
organic growing, which enables us to offer a wide range of plants. The
result is a very interesting diversity of pharmaceutical, culinary and spice
plants on a total area of appr. 1000 ha.
Achillea millefolium
Based on the market trend, the priority of cultivation ranges from St John‘s wort, mint, chamomile and golden rod up to common balm, fennel, anise and coriander, just to name some of the offered goods. This implies that agrimed wV provides the market apart of seeds also with flowers, leaves, herbs and roots. We sell the plants according to the wish of our customers either fresh or dried.

by the way they are produced: If you desire the plants to come out of
organic farming, we prove the provenience of the article by the certificate
regularly issued by the ecological supervisor IMO.
Of course, the conventional produced plants are also submitted to highest
quality standards („good agricultural practice“) and is in any case
understandable from the sowing to the selling.

Our internal administration of the different lots is your guarantee that — at any moment — the provenience and following treatment can be traced “back to the roots”
The purchasers of our products are world-wide known producers of the pharmaceutical, culinary and spice trade. On their request we provide them with a sample before organising the selling and — if desired — the transport of high-quality raw material.

agrimed Hessen wV is supervised by a board of five members. They are all
farmers who are deeply involved in the cultivation of pharmaceutical plants
and culinary herbs. Our increasing growth sice the foundation of agrimed Hessen wV, in the year
1988, is our best proof of highest quality standard.
